La resistenza del calcestruzzo, l’isolamento del polistirolo
Si tratta di un sistema costruttivo in blocchi-cassero di polistirene espanso (EPS) – da assemblare a secco e gettare in opera – che permette di realizzare muri resistenti e ottimamente coibentati in un unico passaggio.
Ideato per realizzare pareti in cemento armato, integra le capacità di resistenza meccanica del calcestruzzo con le capacità di isolamento termico del polistirolo, realizzando in un’unica fase struttura portante, tamponamenti, isolamento termico e isolamento acustico.

A differenza di tutti gli altri sistemi ICF, la linea ED2 si basa su due soli componenti: il pannello e il distanziatore plastico.
Mentre gli altri sistemi adottano una moltitudine di componenti e pezzi speciali creando il problema di ordini infiniti e disagi in cantiere (dove spesso manca qualche elemento per terminare il lavoro), il sistema ED2 adotta un solo pannello per realizzare fondazioni isolate, murature ICF isolate, angoli, spalle finestre coibentate, architravi, piattabande, angoli fuori squadro, coibentazioni sotto trave ecc.
Con ED2, inoltre, non rimane nessuno sfrido e nessuna giacenza di magazzino.
